The Montane Atomic Jacket has been around in name for a few years now. It's always been Montane's classic lightweight shell and has always represented fantastic value and performance. This year Montane have updated the fabric to Pertex Shield and improved the features on the Atomic to create a brilliant shell for eveyone from the hardcore mountain runner to the lightweight hiker.

The Pertex Shield fabric is waterproof and breathable to high levels and feels comfortable next to the skin. The roll away hood is excellent as always and the two large, part vented chest pockets provide plenty of storage and sit above pack belt and harness level. 

In short the Atomic Jacket is a great option for running, biking, hiking and any situation where lightweight protection is needed and with this season's update it's better than ever.
