Icebreaker Tech Top Charcoal

A super warm Bodyfit 260 weight baselayer that's great for colder conditions or use as a lightweight midlayer.

A zip neck collar, thumb loops, a dropped tail and raglan sleeves are among the cool features on the Tech Top, one of Icebreaker's most popular garments. It breathes brilliantly, feels soft against your skin and stubbornly refuses to hold odour. The Tech Top is a perfect baselayer for winter activities like skiing and snowboarding, or for those who feel the cold.

There are plenty of merino baselayers out there these days but only Superfine Merino will perform to the highest levels providing itch free wicking and high performance comfort over many days/weeks/months of continuous use. Superfine Merino fibers must have a micron count of less than 19. Any wool with a higher count will generally not perform as well as the Superfine variety used by Icebreaker.

Bodyfit 260 (260g/m2) is a little heavier and therefore warmer than Bodyfit 200. It's best suited to use as a baselayer in cool to cold conditions. It's also fantastic as a lightweight midlayer over a lightweight Merino baselayer; try layering up Merino - you can't beat it. Bodyfit 260 will also manage moisture effectively through wicking and absorption.
