Classic merino wool base layer for year round use in Bodyfit 200 weight Superfine Merino.

Designed to fit close to the body, the Icebreaker Oasis Crewe has a higher neck to trap in the heat when you need it most. Flatlock stitching and a seamless underarm reduce friction from internal seams, which will make this top one of the most comfortable pieces of clothing in your wardrobe.

There are plenty of merino baselayers out there these days but only Superfine Merino will perform to the highest levels providing itch free wicking and high performance comfort over many days/weeks/months of continuous use. Superfine Merino fibers must have a micron count of less than 19. Any wool with a higher count will generally not perform as well as the Superfine variety used by Icebreaker. Bodyfit 200 (200g/m2) is a great weight of fabric to wear all year round, in all conditions. It will be warm in cold conditions and not too warm in hot conditions. It will also manage moisture effectively through wicking and absorption. It's ability to deal with bacteria will also keep you smelling sweet even after several days of use.
